"Bhosale Kaleen Nagpur" (1700-1854)

I was Shocked to see the depilated structures and the ruins of the Bhosalepalace, temples and gardens on my visit to Sakaradara as a member of the Heritage Conservation Committee. This became a turning point in my career and I vowed to bring alive the lost glory of the Bhosalas. The utter neglect b and the pitiable state of affairs spurred me to take this venture and I decided to pen this and thus was sown the seed of a series of books on the " Bhosalas of Nagpur".

"Bhosalekaleen Nagpur" saw the light of the day on 17th March 2001 and is a complete statement with thorough inputs on the Bhosale dynasty.

It is a compilation of various interesting articles published in noted research journals & newspapers. The need to enlighten the people of Nagpur regarding the rich culture and traditions of the Bhosalas of Nagpur, was felt more during thetercentenary celebrations . The book answers various questions on the different topics associated with the origin & the Bhosalas as rulers of Nagpur. It narrates the journey of the Bhosalas ,and the rise of their political, economic, and geopolitical power. The social , cultural and the religious scenario during their regime has been beautifully portrayed with substantiating evidences & proofs.
